Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] oil pump and water pump gasket...where from???

It's not a bank breaker really is it?

All depends the quality difference between OEM and third party.

I can understand going third party for head gaskets as they are expensive from toyota.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Auto Gear Selector Dash Light Bulb(s)....

Really?

The parts seem cheaper over here from Toyota! I buy that much I think they give me a discount.

Most car shops should have the basic parts in anyway.

Go Toyota or halfords

As it's a gasket it'll be peanuts.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Auto Gear Selector Dash Light Bulb(s)....

ebay. Not sure on size you'd need though, I guess they would be smaller than the normal ones. If your taking it apart then you may as well just get one out, go to local motor shop and ask for a few and replace them all. i bet toyoyoyoyta wouldn't be as expensive as you think. Ring and ask for parts ...

Re: Please help im stuck....

I stuck hose pipe in mine, have not got a clue how much it took. Say 5 litres at least.

Ran it till all pipes were warm.

Use the forum search for coolant or expansion bottle and maybe edit the topic title to include a desription of your problems and more people will look and let you know.

Re: Are the turbo and N/A back box the same???

No is the short answer. Unless your centre pipe has already been modded? The turbo box has a central pipe where the NA box has a huge U bend over to the passenger side (under boot) then back across which holds the CAT, then a joint (all running parallel to subframe) The next pipe is a j shape which ...

Re: Trolley jacks + Axle stands

Halfords do a kit, 2 chocks, 1 2-Tonne trolley jack, 2 axel stands & a roller thing you lie on (very comfy)

£40 for the lot iirc.

I picked one up in April when I came over. Abosolute cracking buy.
