Re: Changing front shock
Remember rear hub has a driveshaft in it as well so the guides for front and rear will be different. Obviously you can't actually remove the strut without seperating it from the hub but I don't see why you'd have to remove the hub from the car. I can see why you might have to take a caliper off for...

engine lid?
Plenty of room to lash 4 wheels on for a short trip to the track.
Failing that, take passenger seat out (less weight) pop four wheels in.

Re: Non road legal Tyres
Its not so much getting stopped. If your spending that extra bit on race tyres then you don't want to shread them on these roads. Not to mention, if you have an accident [-X or hit any standing water ](*,) Buy a set of 4 standard rims, get some race tyres on and strap them to the back like I will be...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Engine removal - Why not out the top?
I did mine from underneath was simple enough.
Don't think my crane would've held the engine high enough to get it out top as there's quite a large gap from boot to engine I had it on the max peg that was a reason I dropped it down.

Re: need help
V6 it or sell up and buy a turbo :thumleft: The only things you could do really are N20 which is the cheapest to get power but poses a risk if not correctly set up or some serious engine work which will cost more than buying a turbo. I had a nice de-cat exhaust and air filter on mine, sounded great....

toxo  Wealth of all knowledge. If only I had seen this 2 years ago ](*,) I re-did the whole door loom as the stuff that covers the wires had got water inside and must have been soaking for quite some time. It wasn't hard, just took a few hours running one at a time. Also new top door seals jus...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Electric Windows not working
You know where the frunk release cable is, there is a fues box there, be carefull to poke around it first before pulling it off as you don't want to break any clips!
Use a torch, fuse May be in there but I cannot remember if it was there of frunk!

Well done :thumleft: Over to the good side of the dark side :) You'll absolutly love it! I ran mine with no exhaust at all and it is loud! Soon as the centre pipe and back go on it just gives a roar from 100rpm to red line! Pretty much one of the best experiences in my life driving that V6...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Electric Windows not working
Before you go poking, try and borrow someones window switch and see if it works :) If the driver switch (or wiring) is kaput then that will cause the passengers to not work. Think the relays are behind kick panel. Also, obvious I know, but fuses? They either in frunt or drivers kick panel, take a to...

He's already working on a few things.
May take a while due to the recent adition
Still quite a few things on his site.
See group buys section for some rear carbon valnces and some other carbon GB's, don't think they ar Ben's creations though.
