what do you lot use when reselaing the cam cover after it has been removed?
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
toyota seemed to use some form of black silicone sealant, i have tons of normal clear silicone but double checking before i go ahead and use it.
would rather use the same equiptment as Toyota

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Swirl Pot? Where
I know what your saying, but its just another thing to go wrong/fail Keep it as simple as poss is my theory! We were at york drag way last weekend and my car was running out of fuel at the end of the strip, there was only 1 litre in there, so maybe 3 litres and more will be ok? i can see your point...

plus its not costing me alot to do already have the main pump and lifter pump installed from previous system.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
so all im buying is the swirl pot and some lines and AN fittings.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

because the car is predominately going to be used on track thats why and with the previous set up i was getting some problems when fuel was low and under hard cornering.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
so this measure is being taken to prevent it from occuring thats why.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Swirl Pot? Where
in short does 2 things 1) prevent fuel aeration 2) prevents fuel starvation when the amain tank is low on fuel and under hard cornering the fuel sloshes about to get it to work you could do as i've done and have a HV pump in tank as a lifter pump to the swirl pot with a filter along the the way, the...
