Re: Rays/VOLK Duralumin racing quality wheelnuts....
Right, took the wheel off and tried the nuts on the hub. The thread is correct and the taper looks the same as my existing nuts. I've found out the wheels are Volk Racing CV Pro's, the date on the label on the inside of the wheel is 1996. The nuts are only slightly too big at the collar between the ...

Re: Rays/VOLK Duralumin racing quality wheelnuts....
I had the red ones. I had the same problem when i bought McGard locking nuts a few years ago, but this time i thought Rays nuts-Rays wheels, no problem. Haven't tried them just on the hub yet. Will try that tomorrow. Not sure what type of Rays wheels they are but i thinkl they were on the car when i...

Re: Rays/VOLK Duralumin racing quality wheelnuts....
Hi, i recieved my nuts on saturday but they don't fit my wheels. :( It puzzles me cos the wheels are made by Rays Engineering too! The nuts just won't pass through the holes in the wheel-they are too big. My existing nuts are a 17mm socket and i notice the Rays nuts take a 19mm socket. Do you have a...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Pete @ SBits
I've always had excellent service from Peter. In the past i've had calipers, droplinks, ball joints, poly bush kit, camber bolts, steering rack ends all delivered in good time, in most cases next day. When my droplinks failed he replaced them without question. Ok, sometimes he can be difficult to ge...

trd topmounts-thank you Harry
Just fitted these items that i bought from Harry. I'm very impressed with the improvement in the overall handling of the car. The steering now also feels much more direct. Dealing with Harry was a real pleasure too, a perfect service with updates throughout the transaction. Thank you Harry. \:D/

engine mounts
How many variations of engine mounts are there on the mk2? Is there a difference between turbo's and n/a's? I have ordered a pair of powerflex engine mounts from DC dezign but they don't appear to fit my n/a. I have checked the part numbers on both DC dezign's and powerflex's websites and they both ...

shock absorber inserts
I rang my local motor factors yesterday to enquire about inserts. They said they had a pair of fronts in stock (KYB), but i'd need to take mine in to compare as they have 3 different part numbers depending on year, 90,91, or 92! Is this right? I assumed they'd all be the same in such a short time pe...

Anyway, i could do with a pair of front ball joints. would it be possible just to get these at £14 each or am i gonna have to pay full price on these too? [-o< [-o<

Re: [Mk2 NA] Apexi induction fitting
I removed all mine. Didn't see much point in it being there. i too intend to duct the air when i get a spare moment.
I love the noise from the apexi, especially with the t-bar panels out.

Re: clutch
I did mine myself-first clutch i'd ever done. Wasn't any major problems, just a fair bit involved. I didn't remove the engine.
I booked a couple of days off work and took my time. Saved myself around £300 so i was well happy.
