Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Flared/rolled arches
Most people get the inner lip tucked/rolled in which should suffice. Really depends on how wide you're going/wheel offsets etc.. As Baker mentioned Woodsport has arches available if you're going wild.

Re: oil temp on track
I'd say anything north of 110deg you'd be better installing a thermostatically controlled oil cooler esp if seeing 120+ on a full on run(track). You will get mixed views on this subject, also dependant on what oil you are using as optimum running temps will differ. You might want to search through t...

Re: Alloy Wheel Refurbish in South London.
Hey Could someone recommend a refurbisher for my 16" Blitz two piece wheels, there are quite a few out there but would like to do it local. Thanks in advance. Hey mate there's a place on Queenstown Road SW8. My mate had his wheels done there and was happy with the service, i'll get more info o...

Re: Cracked block and my exit :(
Thanks for all the support guys :thumleft: but i'm gonna cut my losses and call it a day, other priorities have taken over and the money I get back will come in handy there. Greeny I did consider the 5s block, original plan was to garage the car till I can sort a built 5s bottom end but even that wo...

Re: Cracked block and my exit :(
I thought long and hard about this before commiting, it's just not happening. My first engine build lasted all of 3k miles(camshaft snapped/damage to bores and piston) I put that down to the engine builder for a messy 'quick' job. On this second build I went all out and unfortunatley as you all know...

Cracked block and my exit :(
Well it's been a long road and I officially give up after 6 years of ownership. Long story short... full on engine build, lined rev2 block 86mm pistons, engine run in ~1000miles, mapping session got to 1.4bar and the block let go http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k240/Yasin_Pics/IMG00056-20110503-08...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] A sneaky pic
It's being mapped on Monday Not had a chance to drive it really since the rebuild other than running in miles but I must say the turbo was happy to spool from 3k.
I'm still on the standard crank so it'll be nice to compare against your 2.2

Looking good Ash Did you modify the mani for the egt ports or did full-race do it for you? I've got the same manifold/turbo set-up on mine!

I've noticed parcels from Japan seem to slip through the system where as US parcels don't, luck of the draw I guess?
