Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] after market water temp gauge

It's the grey plug on the water tree just below the oil press sensor. If you are using aftermarket engine management your coldstart will most likely be redundant in which case you can use this location BUT if you are still on the oem setup you will need the coldstart in place.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] after market water temp gauge

Can't see a problem using the oem location, you'd just need the right fitment or an adaptor to screw your aftermaerket temp sensor into place. What rev have you got? I'm no longer using the cold start sensor on mine and will be using that location to fit my temp sensor, if you have the same option t...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Ganador mirror wiring

Get hold of the base plate bit, grab the mirror part and push it backwards and away from the base plate. If they are still fitted to the car place your palm facing flat onto the mirror and push away, probably easier to sus out how they separate whilst still fitted to the car. You should get them to ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Ganador mirror wiring

I'm gonna chop the plug off my standard mirrors to 'plug-in' to the car harness like they would be normally, then solder the other end directly onto the mirror... from what I remember there are 3 pins on a chip board inside the ganador(i'm missing the plug that would clip onto that board). The plug ...

Re: Intake temps?

Mine are +15 degrees or thereabouts ontop of ambient temp. Measured through my Spa Design gauge, which is only a degree out on the IAT sensor feeding the ECU so fairly accurate. Never saw it go over 40 degrees when I was running her in, on hotter days it went upto 37/38deg and that was whilst stuck ...

Hey mate, if you want it inspected The AA should be able to sort this for you. I sold a GT4 just over a year ago and the buyer had AA come round, they had no problem with it being an import.
