I had to drive mine for a week or two with the front offside droplink disconnected from the strut, not ideal and I did notice the difference in handling.
I think as long as you're aware of it and sensible it's ok.

I'm heading up with some of the Pistonhead guys in the NW. Not sure of start time, but we're planning on meeting at nine to convoy up for around 10 the same as we did last time.

I've seen the yellow mk2 loads of times, guess the owner works at the petrol station, also say the mk1 for sale too. I've seen one other white mk1 around Bridgefoot a few times, so may be the same one.

I went with PistonHeads last year, it's a fab venue for a chilled out afternoon. Might be worth taking barbies and food, saw a few folks doing that last year.

I've gone for Marangonis (Zeta Linea) after a recomendation from a few of the Westfield owners I know, can't fault them for around £40 per corner fitted.
