Check the earth, run a lead (jump leads clamped together work) from your negative battery terminal to the starter motor, turn it over if it starts it will be a bad earth somewhere!

Try these
I'd check all normal things such as HT leads , dissy cap, rotor arm, there is a thread in knowledge base for that. Otherwise timing may be out. (ignition timing may have slipped?! or more probable the Cam belt slipped possibly? That would be new cambelt and tensioner and maybe bearings. Say average ...

helps stop water getting towards engine parts (coil etc) obviously if coil gets wet you may have a problem running your car until it drys out.

Didn't rate the EBC clutch had it two years 30,000 miles to go completely.

Further investigation leads to Damp in coil due to panel not being in place , assumption of cambelt due to having just replaced it! No driving through rivers now! (hard when i live in shrewsbury and it floods!)

well if it is the wrong belt it was the one supplied to and fitted by the garage in cornwall! b******s and wouldn't it have gone sooner rather than after two months! My problem created by a garage that cost me £320!
