Re: New Door Hinges

A quick fix for a dropped door is to unbolt the bottom hinge, then bolt it back up with some washers under it

Re: My AW11 Fritzinger widebody. Some years of work in pictures

It's difficult to get a engine swap streetlegal here in Germany plus there's never bin a other engine than the 4A-GE avaiabel stock so with an swaped engine I can't get a historic reistration when her becomming 30 years old in 2016 . Do the regulations also apply to imports ? ( i.e. could you 'expo...

It sounds more like an alignment issue - I had one that acted very twitchy which turned out to have too little rear toe-in

Re: Magnex Exhaust

Araldite is too rigid to bond to rubber. RTV should do the job though, just make sure the surfaces to be bonded are clean

Re: Magnex Exhaust

The rubber itself doesn't look too bad - just clean it up ( and the bracket ) and stick it back in with RTV Silicone

Re: 4A-GZE Earth Strap

Blowing hot air into the engine compartment isn't going to help the temperature in there

Re: oil cooler

With the Mk1 an oil/water cooler is really the only option - nowhere in the engine compartment to fit an oil/air cooler where it will get sufficient airflow to work without overheating something else, and running oil cooler pipes all the way to the front of the car would be a non-starter ( size of s...

Re: Rear caliper - Fensport let me down need slide pin

I'm just about to put a pair of rear calipers up in the For Sale section - they both have the hanger with clean sliders ( see pics below ) - but I don't want to sell the hangers separately from the calipers. I'm after £15 per caliper, and UK postage would be £15 for one or £23 for both. http://img42...
