I would guess it's some sort of filter for the aircon or Heather blower. That's just a guess though but am interested to find out if it is.

Thanks for the advice am still deciding if to take out the engine and give it a good clean and mini overhall.

Failing that will replace the seals as suggested and see how that goes.

Had an oil leak on my rev1 NA looked like it was coming for the oil pump cover at the base near the sump pan. Black Turbo on Tipping Street Car park friday night about 9.30. I spoke to you briefly when you came back to your car. Must appologise was not in the best mood and not very talkative. I was in the white widebody TRD.

It is a genuine one well a geniune replica one anyway.

Just need to find someone who is good with fibre glass to repair the small crack I have on the front bumper, I decided to modify it on the kurb at Halfords :oops:

Robbie Did you turn off onto the M6 and did you have a baby seat in the passenger seat? If so it was me in front. Luzie who you calling a TURD???? :wink: Yeah traffic was bad all over stafford yesterday took me ages to get in to town. even worse on the weston road though with the temp traffic lights.

Hopefully will see me on the road again soon, just need to take care of the oil leak thats killed my alternator.

LuizeGT your car is looking sweet, I love the colour and the lights in the front bumper, see it most days when poping round to my Mum and Dads house, (they live a bit further up the road past the hospital).

Thanks for the info.
I know someone selling one for £400 not sure if this is a good price or not. Also it says it is for a rev 2, does this mean it wont fit the rev 1 version (sorry if that sounds a stupid question).

AP Engineering A'PEXi Power FC

Hi

If I install a "AP Engineering A'PEXi Power FC" which allows me to remove the AFM what gains would I get other than being able to vent dump valve to atmosphere with no problems. My MR 2 is a 1990 (which is rev 2 I think?)
