its strange because they run a formula 3ish independent race team and cant get to the root of the problem of the thermostat. Makes me think that something is seriously wrong with the engine but like i said im only really interested in the bodywork etc

i dont want to take the pee when/if i make an offer but it sounds like it wont be fixed any time soon and is just gonna sit there collecting rubbish off the trees might push it to £500 but at the end of the day it will only be a doner car

Had a quick look at an L reg glimited auto today that i heard had been sitting for over a year due to a crack on/near the thermostat. basically need the settings for the two bolts which hold to the hub and the crown nut. im changing all four lower ball joints so do the settings differ?

unfortunately last year some thieving little wretch nicked my rear rev 3 clusters and shredded my looms. Replaced with import looms and they have no fogs (i didnt know) so gotta diode up the inner 2 lights to act as brake/fog and night lights #-o found this out at mot time. Still keep going bud :thu...

it should just be the rear cluster looms that are the problem everything else is the same as before what about the diode mod thats in some threads for the quad/fog mod?

yes mate i did the rev 3 conversion to it a few years back and it never came up in the mot so presume i had the rear fogs as i used my existing looms but with having the clusters stolen and the looms shot i had to replace them. this is the 1st time its came up in the mot
