Re: Parts compatibility between models
rev1's look to have higher ride height to me
rear tie rods and subframe are different, whether this affects how the struts attach i don't know.....but rev1 have smaller brakes and thus i assume different hubs
i'd play safe and stick with rev2-5 if it were me

Screws always lined up for me....most aftermarket units do stick about 5mm out of dash so screw holes are further back on the unit than you may expect.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] JDM Side Repeater removal
How do I remove the side repeaters?? Do I use a screwdriver to pry it off? Or are there hidden screws or nuts behind the wheel liner? is it not attached to the trim from inside....so have to remove the trim first (think there's a screw under front indicator reflector, and one under wheel arch. ...p...

Don't go straight in with an aggressive cutting compound
Try Clay bar, then meguiars no.7 first
can be done by hand

It extends 10ft and looks sh*te
Well, each to own, looks in fitting with age of car to me! (worst is people retrofitting sharkfin type things, now THAT looks awful!)
