Has a new rad and sensor, am wondering if the previous owner half removing aircon has any influence? rev3 na by the ...

High idle after rebuild
Just pt my rev3 NA back together following HG replacement, and upon starting it initially idled at 2250-2500rpm fluctuating, which stabilized but was still at about 1600rpm when warm. I'm thinking it's likely i've plugged something back in wrong, or forgot to tighten a bolt properly (though i have c...

Headgasket material
What material should the HG be on rev3 n/a? One that came out appears to be metal, where as new kit (supposedly for rev3) appears to be different (brown, almost cork like, with metal ring around cylinder)?

Does anyone have access to the toyota parts catalogue?
If so, can you tell me the part number for the hose that goes from end of water bypass pipe to water outlet please?

Re: realistic price for a rust free mr2?
Not sure you can put a price on a rust free mr2 as a lot if down to luck of finding one...it could be £5k or £500! Look at as many as possible, but as said to know there's no rust inside the sills is gonna be near impossible.
I'm quite happy with a relatively rust minimal mr2 tbh!
