After my rebuild car was running fine, but now i've got a low rev/low throttle misfire/hesitancy!
Any ideas where to start looking?

Damage to wires at back of cluster? bulbs in cluster gone (unlikely, but you never know.....would suggest a further issue tho if all went)?

Re: 205/55/15 rear's
Couldn't you just use 45 profiles? I doubt there will be much of a difference in real world terms. Alternatively is it possible to get hold of 235/45 or 235/50 more easily? Camskill do Toyo T1R in 225/50/15. Rather than put skinny tyres on the back, I'd either buy the correct size, or buy some 16s/17s.... Only E rated for wet....which is where i want my grip. Uniroyals are A. Don't like non standard wheels, so 16/17's aren't happening! I still got fair tyre life left ...

205/55/15 rear's
With fewer and fewer tyres now available in the proper 225/50/15, i'm strongly considering changing to 205/55's. Reason for that size is i could then get uniroyal rainsport 3's which i just fitted up front and am amazed by (mega hard to lock up even in heaviest of rain, no light steering at speeds a...

Check wire to the engine bay fan would be where i'd look....easy to knock whilst doing alt i would've thought (could have been very deteriorated inside)

Re: Insurance
My understanding is NCD is irrelevant for a classic policy
However, if you don't have another normal policy with your NCD attached to it, it lapses after a certain amount of time
