Re: Subtle sideskirts that keep the standard side vent panels?
I think the reason all the skirts incorporate the vent, is due to the mounting points under the strip.
I don't think there are any mr2 skirts that don't incorporate this part for those reasons

Re: Seemly dangerous Overboost issue... anyone shed some light?
If its had a mechanical boost controller fitted the right port of the actuator should be blocked off (same when fitting the EBC) ok but im confused, this is all great info, but i havent fully installed the controller... so havent touched the stock pipework. it boosted normally before i connected it...

Re: Seemly dangerous Overboost issue... anyone shed some light?
not sure which bit you mean Steve the actuator and turbo i havent touched. so should be running as per before i installed it? the only thing that i've connected to the air system at all is the vac feed to the dsbc. which is still live... so the dsbc reads the boost pressure. it is tee'd off the vac ...

Re: Seemly dangerous Overboost issue... anyone shed some light?
well when i bought the car it already had a boost gauge installed, its tee'd into the pipe that controls the atmospheric dump valve. It was boosting within normal parameters before i touched it... it feels REALLY quick until the power cuts out and the yellow engine light comes on.. the light goes of...

the boost controller is only connected to the electrics and the vac line. the solenoid isn't connected. the turbo/actuator pipe is connected as per stock
