Re: Wheels Widths and ET. Expert advice needed.

All excellent advice thanks.

I'm guessing that those wheels are off limits to me as they don't do them in an 8 or 8.5". 7.5 would be fine for the front but the 9" might just be too big.

Re: Wheels Widths and ET. Expert advice needed.

That's what I thought mate. Very odd.

So would ET 30 stick out too much and rub on the arches under load?

Re: Wheels Widths and ET. Expert advice needed.

Cheers guys. Didn't even know about that website. Just presumed they only came in 9 and 9.5" like on the drift works site.

So...7.5" front. And 9" rears. Both ET35. Can't understand why they don't do an 8" rim though.

Wheels Widths and ET. Expert advice needed.

Been biting the bullet on a new set of wheels for a couple of months now. I've seen a few I like, including 2nd hand ones but I'm fancying these: http://www.driftworks.com/rota-gtr-17-wheels-all-colours.html So, if I go for this... Front 9" ET25 Rear 9.5" ET30 ...Are the wheels going to st...

Re: Turbo or na

Everyone's right here. Its all about finding a good car, regardless of its engine power. I've had four N/As and one turbo and I loved the turbo because of its raw power and the sounds of its dump valve. However, I have an N/A as a daily and I love it. I look forward to the drive to and from work but...

Hi mate, how would postage be within the UK? Also, will it fit straight onto an N/A?

Cheers Harold. Yes, I do have an aftermarket boss and wheel that came with the car when I got her. I'll look into that, thanks.

Re: Rev5 red stitch gearknob

I have one sitting in my glove box. I'd sell it but I quite like the idea of having all the original parts if I ever wanted to sell the car.

Cheers mate. I guess the days off getting almost 400 to a tank are gone. I remember those days but it was 1999!

Fuel Consumption

Ok, done a thousand times before but I can't find a previous thread and I know everyone just loves talking about this #-o I took Peters advice and actually put a full tank in and got 270 miles on a full tank. I think it was about the 60 quid mark and it was in the red. My journeys usually consist of...

Power Steering

When my car is moving, or has been moving, the power steering is fine but when I stop and let the car idle (at the filling station waiting for instance) its sometimes heavy and very hard to move until the car goes again.

Possible fault or fluid not circulating round correctly?

Cheers,

David

Re: Wheels.

I think I'm torn between the Torque Drifts in 8 and 9" at ET35 or the Grid Drifts in 8 and 9". Only problem with the Grids is the 9" offset is 42 and the 8" is 30. Would this make the fronts stick out slightly more?

Also, gunmetal or bronze???

Choices choices.

I was just looking at those in gunmetal on Driftworks. 8" front and 9" rear but what et would I need for a 'meaty' look but still usable?

Re: Wheels.

Cheers guys. I'd take those Lensos off you mate but I'm not a fan of the red lip. Real shame that as they're in my top five considerations.

I like those Blitz wheels too but not sure if they'd look quite small in a 17". No word on offsets either though from the seller.

Wheels.

Ok, so I got my new rubber last weekend, Toyo Tr1 215/40/17 on the front and Toyo T1 Sport 245/40/17's on the rear. I have a new trust with the car now it feels a little more familiar as I've been running Toyos for the last 5 years or so. Anyway, I want to change my wheels. Currently I have Momo Arr...
