spraying interior

I'm looking to smarten up the dull black plastic on the three piece center console but I don't want to make it look cheap. So any pictures of gloss black or dark gunmetal grey sprayed interiors to give me an idea?

Handbrake leather cover

Just got one of those leather geargators and handbrake covers from fleabay (very nice quality by the way) but how do you fit the handbrake cover? Do you need to take the little cover off on the right side of the handbrake or is it just a case of 'shoving it down the side'?

Anyone fitted one?

Re: Finally got some photos

Rough ride with 18's on I'd say. They look great though but the MR2 is better suited to 16's. 17's are as big as you should go really without compromising too much on handling. Beautiful example though. Best colour too. As long as you polish it once a week lol.

Re: Finally got some photos

What make and size are they mate. I inherited a set of Momo Arrows on mine which I'm thinking of putting up for trade as I'm thinking they're too silver for my silver 2.

Re: Finally got some photos

Beautiful classy example mate. Why do you want rid of the wheels though, they really suit it. Very nice

Re: Nankang NS-II's

I know that feeling mate. I caught it when the rear end went but over compensated and it went the other way resulting in 720 degrees of brown trouser staining, two snapped exhaust pipes, various ruined geometry and a big insurance claim that took me fives years to shrug off.

Re: Nankang NS-II's

Drain cover is how I wrote off my old rev3. Wasn't going very fast at all but it like slick as ice with a little rain water on it.

Who the hell puts drain covers on corners anyway!

Re: Low Pro headlight problem

Actually Julian your original advice was invaluable. Once the rain tray was removed (typically snapping at least two of the screws) I was able to life the lights up to adjust them. Turns out the fault was a connection but you are eight, what a terrible fiddly job. My right rain tray is now adjustabl...

Re: Thinking of moving to an sw20

Actually, I have to agree that the MK1 MX5 is more fun to drive than an MR2. It does however lack that masculine grunt that even the N/A has. What the MX5 lacks in straight line acceleration though is made up by pure windy road, roundabout pleasure. I'm selling my MK1 ironically and its the one to h...

[Mk2] [NA] Radio Cage

Went to put my stereo into my new acquirement yesterday (as it didn't come with one) only to find there's no radio cage in there. Are the REV5's the same as REV3's and below where its the two panels that screw either side of the radio/CD player then onto the car itself? And if so, where on earth do ...

Re: Nankang NS-II's

In all honesty I'm not pushing the car at all because I am very wary. I've been on the receiving end of an MR2 rear kick before and it wasn't pleasant. In reality though they haven't given me any grief. They seem to grip OK and don't wheelspin at all. The compound doesn't seem to be too hard at all ...
