Re: MK1 Front Cross Member/Reinforcer -help required!
Hello Am looking to replace this part on my car as it has fully corroded. It is going into a bodyshop at the end of the month. Where can I get a really good replacement? What else might I need? Many thanks for any help. Toyota, but you don't mention whether it is MK1a or Mk1b as there is a differen...

These have done work on my mates MR2s (pictured) Work really is fantastic, but not cheap  http://www.automirage.co.uk/paint.html Another vote for Automirage - I visited them when delivering a drivers door window for j0nathan when they were working on his Mk1, and was very impressed with the j...

Re: rattling noise
Hi all, I have a concerning rattling noise every time I accelerate at low revs between 2-3k rpm. The noise is then drowned out by the exhaust over that, so I can't hear it. It does it hot and cold, but it does not increase or decrease with speed. Its not a deep rattly noise, but I am slightly worri...

Andy, all is working fine and has been for a long time ( more than 1 year ) . I've been puzzled by your post and have had a nose through the server logs. The only email that's been sent to you today left our server at 02:48:29 GMT, all looking OK - is this the message you meant? Could your ISP be f...

These appear to be related to this topic except from a different 'user'. These have got to be automated - far too many being sent out if the ot...

Re: Weight Loss
Yours and my experience kind of backs up what I'm thinking that there must be a similar, or even grater, benefit in switching to a lightweight flywheel to remove weight drag off the engine in the same way as lightening the car. :D Do it - you will not regret it. It can take a while to get used to c...

pulling off in 1st i've now stalled it twice, its weak, realy weak below 1500rpm, dabing the throttle to get the revs up doesn't work, its as if you've not done it when you do. It takes a bit of getting used to going from a petrol to a diesel. Clutch out, start to roll and then floor it. Take it ro...

Thanks. I wasn't sure. I've just checked Brakes International site and the Supercharger clutch kit is listed as a 224mm item and the MK1b version as 212mm.
Cheers,

Will MK1b Clutch in For Sale section fit a Supercharger?
I am currently selling a Mk1b clutch in the For Sale section and have been asked if this will fit the supercharger version. I don't know. Will it? Standard clutch - 212mm.

Opinions over price aside - it is a very nice car. Shame that he's selling it. It's been at Tatton the last few years which is where I think that photo was taken. That's Fred working on his car next door.
