Re: TRD leather gear knob

My leather gaiter is aftermarket so I no longer have the black plastic bit. The knob wouldn't go down far enough for the threads to engage. The threads don't start until about an inch inside of the knob and the bottom hits on the metal part of the shifter :( Was yours a real one? there are lots of c...

TRD leather gear knob

TRD 5 speed gear knob, bought from RHDJapan, this is real not fake. Can screenshot my order if anyone is in doubt. I bought for my mk2 rev3 but later found out it only fits mk1 and mk2 rev1 due to the ridge on the rev2+ shifters. If you look at this picture, it will fit 1&2 but not 3&4 due t...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] crackstaft index(mark)for timing

Peter, with all due respect - i don't require your help, the op does. So instead of answering my questions, answer his! I know the differences but after almost 15 years of messing with these cars and the problems that arise i have learnt to always ask the simple questions first , even if they seem ...

Mike's rev3 turbo

Thought I'd start a thread as my 2 will be getting an update in the next few months as I went on a silly spending spree. Car is a pink 94 turbo t-bar Hit a cat at about 70mph and my Tom's bumper exploded and it took a foglight out too so I'll get a pic of the standard bumper and new fogs soon. Cat d...

Sorted. refund received thanks.

I'm just confused why it took so long when if you had refunded me earlier I wouldn't have made this post and you could have saved yourself some bad press

Pacific works - stainless cancer bars

Paid for these on 3rd November 2013 via paypal and also sent a PM on imoc stating that I had made payment (the PM is still in my outbox on here, so not even opened) Nothing shows after 4 weeks so I sent an email via his website to which I get a reply saying sorry for the delay and that he'll send th...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Superflex / superpro polybush kit

Thanks that was all I was asking. If you had simply said all mr2s use 14mm rear control arm bolts in your first post I would have accepted it, but your reply didn't really make it clear what they were apart from that the prothane kits you sell, fit.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Superflex / superpro polybush kit

Well I am.
If you've only sold one type of bush kit but the bushes differ after 93 on the rear then that makes no sense.

Nevermind I'll just go with the powerflex rear bush

http://www.powerflex.co.uk/road-series/ ... 233/1.html

Look here then, there's 2 options 12mm and 14mm? Confused now

PFR76-305 fits Rev 1&2 models 1989 to 1992 and uses a M14 bolt

Rev 3 models 1993 to 2000 use PFR76-305-12 which uses an M12 bolt

[Mk2] [Turbo] Superflex / superpro polybush kit

I've decided on this polybush kit, superpro/superflex are identical as far as I can tell with even the part numbers almost identical on both of their websites. I'm about 5mins from ordering but I'm struggling with the rear control arm to chassis bush. Apparently my 1994 uses a 12mm bolt for the rear...

Re: [FINALIZED] Airwalker front bumper 040 White

I had it sprayed after I bought it and it's been stored since then.

It's in good condition with a couple of imperfections across the top where it would meet the bonnet but these will mostly be visible only when the bonnet is open.

You are more than welcome to come have a look.
Cheers
Mike

Airwalker front bumper 040 White

Airwalker front, not sure if this is genuine but I bought it from Rogue after they were breaking a car and it looked a really good fit on the car it was on. Sprayed in 040 white. My favourite bumper for the 2 but as I'm selling mine and concentrating on my rx7 it must go. http://rossy2m.co.uk/stuff/...

[Mk2] [Turbo] CV Boot kit

Just looking at the CV boot kit on camskill as one of my inners has split and it states that there is a different kit for >1997 turbos. I thought they were all the same? Is this a mistake or am I missing something here? All I can see in the contents different is that one has a metal cup and the othe...

Re: coolant pipes

I've never had a replacement set fail. They fit properly, and as you say, keep the car as it was built. Each to their own though. Surely it's just a matter of time as the replacements will fail in the same manner as the originals? Or were the metal pipes revised at some point? It's justifying £300 ...
