I've sprung a leak here too.
What's the advantage keeping the standard metal pipes over rubber pipes? I don't really care too much about keeping the car original but I do care about keeping it reliable and easier to maintain.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Squeaking at idle
I'll adjust the bracket at the weekend
Do you think it would be worth just buying a new belt for the sake of a tenner though?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Squeaking at idle
Well my car has developed an annoying squeak at idle, a blip of the throttle usually makes it disappear but sometimes it can return now and again when the revs drop. I'm thinking it might be to do with the alternator or the belt as I left my interior light on for about 8 hours last week and the firs...

Re: [Mk1] [Turbo] Front brake hardline and nut fitting
Well after a bit of research it seems it's m10x1.00 so I've ordered 4 (2 long and 2 short)
Also ordered a Sykes-pickavant flaremaster2 full kit including line cutters, pipe benders and deburring tools etc. Should be spot on for home use

[Mk1] [Turbo] Front brake hardline and nut fitting
Hi there. Don't suppose anyone would know the type of brake line nut I need for the fronts? I sheared the thread from the passenger front on mine fitting goodridge lines. All the rest went in fine! From what I can see it takes a 10mm flare nut spanner and it's male. I'm also not sure what type of fl...

My new mr2
Well thought I better get a thread up as I just bought my 2nd mr2. Plans are that the red one will become my daily driver and I will chase higher power with the white one! Bought the car from Neil_turbo, here she is after the trip home. http://www.rossi2.co.uk/stuff/2011mr2/IMG_0375s.JPG http://www....

Re: 1995 turbo black modified
Hi there,
Just seen the car, I'm currently looking have the cash in my room right now.
Just wondering if the car is a GT or GTS? Also what year was it imported?
Any rust? particularly bottom of doors or the sills?
Any clunks from the suspension?
Cheers

Like I said earlier it's 100% a photoshop because the guy that created it is on the US mr2 forums!

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Love getting new parts :)
The skirts were from Rogues shop, so was the front bumper but they had it on ebay from a car they must have been breaking or something. The spoiler was from ebay, 2 of the bolts lines up with the holes from the rev3 spoiler but I'll have to drill another 2 and get 4 filled. I had the aerial hole smo...

[Mk2] [Generic] Love getting new parts :)
Can't wait to get them fitted!
I went for Greddy skirts, Tom's Spoiler and an Airwalker(rare as) front bumper.

Re: rev5 turbo price
Thanks for that Racer7 gives me a good idea of what it's like before I go to view it. There's a silver rev4 with a lot of mods up for sale at the minute too, I've seen it quite a bit on the forums. Hmmm decisions I'm the opposite of you I'd prefer to have one without ABS, I don't like all the option...

Re: rev5 turbo price
I've seen this car and it is nice. Very nice. But at the £8k price point I'd rather just import myself even if it means an extra £2k more than the £8k one. Hmm you've seen the car, what was the fitment of the kit like? I've got my heart set on the car as Cosmos is my favourite colour and converting...

Re: rev5 turbo price
That's what I thought I guess, I've convinced my self it's worth it because it's the exact spec I want but the reality is I'd be ripping myself off. I'd probably go for it at 7k though even if it is still paying over the odds. Hmmmm

rev5 turbo price
Hi, I'm arranging to go look at a rev5 turbo hopefully next week, just wondering what peoples opinion are on pricing. I'm hoping to a knock a little bit off as the timing belt will need doing in the next few thousand miles. This is the car and I haven't really seen it before on the forums. I've neve...

Re: Damaged front lip advice
5 layers would have been nice, this is more like 2. Also extra balls on the corners would have helped this has about 1 layer on the edges. I totally agree, I've left it too long now. My first email was around 11th feb though which was 1 month after it was delivered which was a few days outside of TN...

Re: Damaged front lip advice
Well I've just dropped my other bumper off at the bodyshop. Might give it a go trying to repair it, I guess I've always fancied learning! Car should have a full kit on by next week

I guess so, the airwalker bumper I've been putting off fitting is going to the bodyshop instead now!
