What would be the safest way to crank it up?, without damageing the Turbo or anything else for that matter. Car seems to be in V good health, got about 70k on the clock (my estimate). runs quite smooth.

I think a rebuild is around £275 + VAT ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Inversion of popping-up healights
Hey, I've just bought a new turbo MR on which the headlights had been modified to get a sleepy eyes effect. I want them back as they were originally but it seems that the whole wiring has been inversed. When I switch on my car, the headlights are popping up but no light is on. When I switch off, the...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] MOT Help
Not sure about the warming up bit, could'nt tell you, but I would have thought they would have warmed it up properly.
As for the tool I'm guessing they dont have one as they were on about sending the car to a specialist.
Plus is it possible for my Emissions to be out this much in one year ?.

Re: MOT emissions testing - CAT/no CAT
Hi all just been reading some of the above info and have a Q, my 92 UK Mk2 N/A has just failed its emmisions test, reading something like 7.0 Co2, now from what I can understand this amount is well out of tolerence, however I'm not convinced the garage I took it too knows much about MR's. I need som...
