The difference between 5 and 10 is small. Personally I wouldn't be fussed.

[All] [Generic] Good Bodyshops in the Sheffield area?

Hi guys, does anyone know a really good bodyshop in the Sheffield area? Must be good with metallic paintwork and repairing crash damage.

Do not fear! This isn't the MR2, a friend dropped his motorbike on my other car.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] any one know this car ?

I strongly advise walking away from one that already needs work doing. It's simply not worth the hassle because if that one problem identified, there's bound to be more. Seen far too many horror stories on here to know that now... Plenty of minters out there bud, you just have to look hard and be pr...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] help!!!!!!!!!!

No don't be silly, I'd get a mechanic to do that! Not that it's hard, but it is awkward and costly if done wrong. Peter Giddens (SBITS) is based in Barnsley and is a well known MR2 specialist on here. It's a day's work.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Major problem!! SOLVED!! Captive nut on rear sub-frame

I have to agree on this one, get a bus or something whilst your car is being fixed, or take the day off work. Your tyres are the only thing in contact with the road, without them, you are beyond screwed. Your thinking is obtuse at best.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Major problem!! SOLVED!! Captive nut on rear sub-frame

Hmmm things that pop into my head:

Top mounts need checking
Ball joints
Drop links / arbs / arb mounts
Wheel alignment.

Might be some ideas, others might be able to come up with more sound thought...

 Git!

I went out and about last night through the peaks as when Lee said it's Owler Bar I am only 6 miles from there! Some absolutely awesome roads out there, highly recommend it. That roundabout is fantastic too!

Hiya Lee, I thought you 'deleted' yourself after your gbye post but I see you now have a Scooby! Yes gotta be done again soon! I am hoping Sunday March 30th is sunny, if so, I'll be rumbling down that way. I really want to find that roundabout again! :)

Yeah it's a total guess that route, I might just go where I feel like and use the Snake as a starting point :) Nice drive to work!

Sheffield - Snake - Cat and Fiddle, this weekend...

Weather permitting, I fancied doing a route a bit like the below.

Currently the weather looks like it's going to be naff, but you never know! I'll likely do it on the Saturday, come along by all means.
