Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Will this celica cambelt kit fit my car?
Most of these kits don't include the hydraulic tensioner you should change this too, for a full change (idler bearing, tensioner bearing, hydraulic tensioner, belt) with decent pattern parts your looking at £150. Anything less and kit is probably incomplete or poor quality.

Re: Worst thing a garage has done to your car?
On my old mr2 (not the one i have now!), it went for the clutch changing and they snapped 2 subframe bolts and various others so they superglued them back in so i wouldnt notice, only noticed when i came to having my gearbox repaired 6 month later!

I just changed to 30mm drop, Its fine round where i live and we have our fair share of speed bumps. Nice compromise between looks and practicality.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Crashing suspension!! ARGHHHHH!!
Just done same as you msherry got mine sorted today and have to say it feels like a new car put on some black bilsteins with some apex springs, ive nothing to compare the springs to apart from bc coilovers but they not crashy at all and are quite comfy! So if u want to go lower than eibachs id recom...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Bilsteins
Bilsteins are not rebuildable unfortunately, and as said they are not cheap expect £120-150 a corner for the standard black bilsteins and 160-180 a corner for the yellow bilsteins, failing that get rebuildable struts and drop uprated inserts into them but they not cheap either!

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Crashing suspension!! ARGHHHHH!!
Just note its not fully compressed still a bit of spring in there like above, another point msherry your droplink is the wrong way round as mentioned it should go on the inside of the suspension bracket but i dont think this would be the cause of the problem if it is one

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Crashing suspension!! ARGHHHHH!!
Did we get to the bottom of this i just fitted apex springs and standard suspension and it looks exactly the same as your springs fully compressed like that. However ride heights etc seems to be right i cant see how it would be any different

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] New Rebuidable OEM Struts?
Reason i ask is i got coilovers on mine and its too much for roads round here got no teeth left and never sees a trackday anyway.
So i can get some uk rebuildables drop in some adjustable dampers and lowering springs and it would be ok on a rev3 turbo?

Sorry to hijack, are the uk n/a rebuildable struts exactly the same across the range and also the same as the rev1 turbo struts.
