Re: Dan's Cosmo Blue, REV 5 T-Bar Turbo, YVS Built, Fensport Tuned *sold*
Simon also built mine before i got rid last year, pretty much same spec as above . GT3082R and it was mapped to 2.0 bar on a greddy side mount w/o water injection then wound back to 1.8 and ran very well with it. Worth trying it to keep costs down and it might just surprise you. Plenty of people wil...

Get a genuine Walbro upgrade from Ebay for around £60 just make sure you buy from a reputable seller take this route if you plan to modify, if you want standard give TCB Parts a ring and see if they can get you a genuine/Oem fuel pump 01579 383879

Top mechanic used him for a while, not just for the MR2 either. Good no bull approach, he won't tell you get get parts you dont need etc like many so called specialists and gets the job done in a timely manner.

Bump for a proven car, not a unfinished unmapped project. Built and mapped by very reputable garages and ready to put on the road

1994 MR2 Turbo Rev3 SMG Forged & Mapped (GT3082R) Priced to Sell 6.5K!
Will not move on 6.5k which imo is a bargain! I have owned this car for about 4 years and in this time i have had the engine forged and overhauled by YVS Performance and have built it up over time to what it is today i will detail what i can remember but things might be added with time. Details: 199...

Re: Fuel injector size to big???
Keep a eye on Ebay and Motec M4's pop up now and again at a very good price with a bit of haggling i bought mine for £400 then mapped at Fensport for another £300-400, then you have a old but very well respected ECU for not much money.

Re: Fuel injector size to big???
Nobody is really answering the question, i have some RC 1200cc injectors in mine and it has taken a little bit of fiddling to get a decent idle on a Motec M4 , the mechanic who built mine (a very well respected Mr2 mech) said the idle wont be perfect because of the size. It idles fine just not quite...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Which brake discs and pads?
Don't bother with racing pads etc for a road car, been there done that standard pads are a lot better for everyday driving from a cold start. Ive had Pagid before and didnt rate them at all, people slag EBC off no end but there standard ultimax pad fells better than every other standard ive tried in...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] current recommended clutch kit
Funny you should say that gazza, i was going to mention it but thought a OEM one would be ok. I have a ACT HD clutch in mine and fitted that bearing it lasted about 300 miles. Ended up putting a Blueprint OEM one in and its been fine since. The engine builder uses them for most of his cars and has n...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] current recommended clutch kit
Just get a standard OEM clutch for anything upto and around 300hp, that way you keep your drivability, a uprated clutch will likely to be snappy and noisy that's from experience. Unless you are planning on tracking it regularly then you won't need to upgrade. Also, the standard clutch will likely la...

Probably worth getting the ct26 upgraded, rather than buying a 2nd hand ct20b with a questionable history.

If it's the rev4 sonic shadow on eBay, that was listed by dcy Europe about a year ago as a fresh import. Looks like the owner bought it from them and has put it back up for sale less than a year later.

Yvs won't rebore if your bores are still in spec, he uses 86mm pistons whenever he can, what's the point weakening a weak block.
