From the way you worded your reply I thought you wanted me to mention bad points abour your Clio. :thumleft: The car has no bad points apart from a few small chips on the bonnet and the electric aerial motor which isn't there.....so just needs a new one or substitue aerial. I'm not a radio listener ...

Re: Mint looking mk1

Buchanan Motor Company, walk away, no RUN away!!! Fancy looking adverts but that's it. +1 to that: they're deliberately aloof, and then overly verbose, all to "suit" the car they're selling. I went there to look at something else, I could have punched him for the wholly inaccurate downrig...

Buchanan Motor Company, walk away, no RUN away!!! Fancy looking adverts but that's it. lol....cheers. They've got a Z3 2.8 that looks ok but the rear bumper gaps do not line up well so am guessing it's had a rear end shunt. It would have been an awfully long way to go to be disappointed and their d...

Should be plenty around mate. Many mk1's get broken.
ebay, forums or even aftermarket OEM spec ones will be fine.

Re: Mint looking mk1

I'm toying with the idea of this or a Pug 106 Rallye (I've had both).
I want something as an everyday practical classic you see.

FS: Cosmos Blue Rev 5 GTi-16v T-bar £2500

I have decided to sell my car sooner. Basically I advertised before as I was saving for a BMW but then changed my mind again. I'm actually now selling up due to forthcoming job changes for both my Wife and myself so I'll be buying a smaller/cheaper car. S reg Rev 5 Gt T-bar in Cosmos Blue 75k miles ...

Re: Steve's latest Rev 5 n/a in Cosmos Blue

Well it made sense to do it. T1R's on the front and nowhere is selling new 225/50/15's (of decent quality that is) so when these came up on here for £70 a pair with 7mm of tread left (exact same amount of tread as the fronts) I knew it would be the best option. £15 in fuel to collect and £20 fully f...

Re: Rev 1 GT-Tbar with cloth interior ?

It maybe that the original owner specified to the dealer that they wanted cloth instead of leather, which is the only explanation I can think of....but it's a bit of a downgrade as far as options go. :) I don't see it as a downgrade at all. I personally prefer cloth interior to leather. You don't s...

Re: Rev 1 GT-Tbar with cloth interior ?

Yep. All GT-Tbars came with leather.
If it hasn't got leather seats/door cards then it's been swapped out.
Easy 30 min job.
If leather seats rip it looks awful...so people will buy cloth seats if they're on a budget.
