Re: Can you start classing a 1990 Mr2 as a classic?
I was always under the impression that 25 years was seen as a classic car. Although I'm not sure if that was just how the DVLA classed it as you never had to pay road tax on a car over 25 years old as was seen as a classic. So theoretically yours may have already made it :thumleft: Nope, DVLA chang...

I dont know whats worse
1. An MR2 pretending to be a Ferrari
2. Taking a Pic of an MR2 pretending to be a Ferrari
3. Someone actually buying/making an MR2 into a wannabe Ferrari
4 Someone actually owning up to owning/driving this

Re: rev 2 engine?
It's a REV2
Not been tested, seen or heard it running and without any guarantee then i wouldn't spend over £100 on it
Compression test is ok'ish but that still don't mean the engines good.

Re: Adrian Flux….. NO LONGER TRUSTED.
been with them for about 5yrs now and only ever once sent in new odometer reading and that's when i first took policy out with them. Mind you, they did screw me over 1st 2 yrs with a high premium till they knocked £300 a year off to match with another companies quote. I kid you not on the one. Makes...

Save your money. Most of these dont come with the PFC F-CON absolute pressure sensor. Whether you can use the Stock one i don't know.
Best option to go is REV3 fuelling and get rid of the AFM. Bigger injectors so safer on up'ing boost and no need for a FCD

Re: [FINALIZED] Forged engine block
By using my rods and crankshaft I thought that was obvious. You use my rev2 block. Next time a pm would be polite. But the block is knackered and needing replacing? So you couldnt use the block. I sort of see what kenny is getting at. Durrrrrr re-read his post. He was implying that he uses his SPAR...

there is a PAs reservoir in the frunk. Remove the plastic cowling and you will see it right next to battery on right hand side.

Re: Markstevieandmads Budget Turbo project : PART ONE
To be fair you got a couple of weekends work if that. When i found out my car had been in an accident and reshelled it it took just 3 days, long ass days at that. That included stripping N/A donor car to a shell, stripping my Turbo down to a shell and rebuilding it. Just keep plodding on and will so...

Re: Hand brake cables? All the same?
the rev3+ are longer. From my experience, using the shorter earlier cables means the handbrake mechanism can't move through it's full range and thus your handbrake gets worse and worse til eventually it doesn't work at all Nope. I'd Really would love to know where you got REV3+ were longer since th...

i'd say the bracket the pin fits through is worn. A few cm's of free play? i'd say its about 5mm of free play at the peddle.

Re: Cusco brake stopper anyone ?
red one looks like it goes on end of bolt to save the bolt digging into master cylinder, blue one is countersunk so goes on other end of the bolt.
But looks like you need to buy a longer bolt anyways.
