Re: [Mk2] [NA] Fitting an Oil catch can....

Hello matey, I just fitted one to my car. Got one of those pre-drilled brackets and bent it into a kinda 'U' shapr then mounted it against the suspension turret on the passenger side just beside the airfilter. Bolted it in and youre a winner. The difficulty came in the hosing. It was a right bu88er ...

Re: MR2 bodywork

Thanks guys :D I was quoted £1500 to remove some rust from both rear arches, a small bit of rust above the windscreen, and fit a bomox front bumper. Then blend it all in but when I spoke to them again they said as they had to blend in so much of the car anyway it may as well have a full re-spray fo...

Re: Turbo Search

Although there are occasional bargains coming up because of peoples circumstances, generally speaking I think youre going to find it hard to find a good example for that sort of money. Generally speaking I still think good ones start at £3500 and go up from there.

Best of luck hunting though mate.

Re: Ferrari replicas? WHY?

Bobby, never said it was out of reach, I am just likely never to own one. Though it is cheaper, given I can get an MR2 in reasonable nick for £1500, plus the kit £4000. Spraying would be done by friend. Could have the whole thing sorted for about £6000. Left hand drive - pain in the ass when you pu...

Re: Just crashed my car - **repairs update**

Cheers all :) OK Starting to feel it again. Just been out for a cruise, first time I've driven it properly in hot weather since the CC went on. Amazing how much more torquey it is, not affected by the outside temp at all. Definitely need that AC sorted though, getting pretty sweaty in there without...

Re: Ferrari replicas? WHY?

I am sure I saw a different Mustang kit, must have a look again. But I'd rather do that than have a Ferrari kit. Do something that is unique, not badge it anything, rather than have something that is pretending to be what it is not. I have no problem with anyone doing anything to their cars, just do...

Re: Ferrari replicas? WHY?

So does this mean that the Mustang replica is xxxx but the Ferrari one is fantastic? Does this mean that you can knock some replicas but not others? Can you narrow your minds to some kits but not others? And finally.... ARE YOU A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITS!!!!!!????????   :eye: :...

All done guys. Went to Toyota and paid over £30 for the front badge, rear badge and the gromets for the rear one. Today ToyotaGT sprayed them and fitted them for me. Re: Ferrari replicas? WHY?

I don't like the Ferrari replicas, but do like the mustang replica kit for the MK2. Have always been tempted with one, gettign a right hand drive American Muscle style car. Though I'd have to get onto Woodsport to get the biggest V8 shoehorned in as well. I feel decidedly ill! http://carscoop.blogs...
