Re: Need To Get Back In To Gaming

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a great game, many say it's better than COD. The single-player took me around 10 hours to complete and I didn't even find all the m-com's and collectables. Pretty good value, especially with the multiplayer aspect too.

Re: Need To Get Back In To Gaming

Fallout 3 is a very good game which has a brilliant unpredictable storyline and plenty of missions and new locations to find. I've spent about 45 hours on the game and still haven't quite completed it, although pretty close now. Just Cause 2 is also pretty good fun if you like a variety of missions ...

Anyone play F1 on PC?

Just wondered if anyone has F1 2010 on PC? Would be good to add some people for some casual racing online. Gets a bit boring when you keep getting beaten by people who obviously practice it 24/7. Lol.

Re: Should I wait for Black Ops or get MW2 now?

Are COD 4 and MW2 that good online? I heard that BFBC 2 was better as it's more team orientated with bigger maps and vehicles. I think BFBC 2 is very good value, took me a good 10 hours to complete single player and online is still fun after several months despite the odd cheaters.

Re: Fifa 11

I've played the demo on PC. It's decent but I just can't get into FIFA games. The presentation, sound and graphics are excellent but the gameplay just feels too 'automatic' and scoring is too easy for me. There also seem to be annoying little bugs, such as players running straight for the net after ...

Re: Last 3 games you played.....

1) Fallout 3 - Thought it was amazing at first, I must've covered about 20hrs play within the first week. Still a reasonable game now. 2) PES 6 - Used to spend ages playing on the old master league building up my team. Had classic smooth gameplay but does seem dated now compared to the latest versio...

Re: COD: Black Ops or Medal of Honor?

Think I'll wait to see what the reviews say. For now I'm enjoying Battlefield BC2 which is good fun online.

Some great games out!

It's been fairly quiet in recent months for computer games but it's hotting up now with new titles such as F1 2010 and PES 2011 coming out. I've bought both for the PC and they've both exceeded my expectations. I'm quite picky with computer games aswell. I'm nearly 30 so I have quite a lot of gaming...

Re: New pics of S2k

Cheers. Prices are anywhere from £5.5k up to £20k depending on year, mileage and condition. Early models are quite raw so best to go for an '02 onwards as they have a glass rear screen instead of plastic and a better balanced suspension setup. '04 onwards has mostly cosmetic changes along with softe...

Re: Corsa VXR

Never liked the old Corsa's at all but I actually think these VXR's are quite nice and stylish for a hatchback and I'd imagine they're fun to drive too.

New pics of S2k

Just thought I'd put up these pics of my S2000 taken about a month ago when we had a spell of great weather. Been contemplating changing it for something else but still undecided. Driving around with the roof down and hearing the vtec will probably be enough to convince me to keep it for a while lon...

Re: Buying a cheap MR2 mk2 (turbo?)

A turbo should be pretty much as reliable as an N/A if looked after. I had a rev 3 which was still running very well after 95k miles, engine sounded spot on. I'm quite sure it was the original engine and turbo. You can often tell a lot from the history and previous owner's treatment of the car.

Looks like a really nice example from the pics. I love black 2's with white wheels :thumleft: .

It's an option. My '94 rev 3 didn't have ABS, heard it's not a very good system anyway.

Re: Recommended PC games

Cool. Will probably try Crysis, Race Driver:Grid and Left 4 Dead 2 to start with. Computer still hasn't arrived after 2 weeks. Lol. The spec is: AMD Phenom X2 545 3GHZ CPU (6mb cache) Asus M2N68 Pro motherboard (cheap but decent) 4GB DDR2 RAM ATI 5750 1GB Graphics (DX11 ready) 500GB 7200rpm HDD Wind...

Recommended PC games

I'm expecting my new PC to arrive this week so finally I will be able to play the latest games on it. What games do people recommend? Any good racing games out? Thanks.

Re: What's the going price on a rev3 turbo...?

Prices still seem fairly constant then. Sold my clean black rev 3 turbo almost 18 months ago for £2600 but it had 94k miles on the clock. Bodywork was pretty mint and had some nice choice stage 1 mods along with rare advan wheels.

Re: Having a dillema.. I'm just bored..What to do?

I've pretty much grown out of modding now. Used to spend a fair amount on old Fiesta's and the first MR2 I had but gradually realised that it's a waste of money. I put about £1k on a credit card for mods and it took ages to pay off. Better to either buy already modded or just buy a nice car which is...

Re: Having a dillema.. I'm just bored..What to do?

Can see why you're feeling a bit bored with the car. I like to have a change now and then. I still miss my old MR2 turbo at times despite the S2000 being just as much fun. Sometimes it's good to try owning other cars though for the experience. Agreed you should try driving a bog standard shopping tr...

Re: Oil issues

I think I'm right in thinking if the smoke from the exhaust appears blue then it's probably piston rings but if it's just normal grey smoke with higher revs then it's more likely to be valve stem seals. My old N/A burned loads of oil when driving it hard and it also had a slight bottom end knock fro...
