Scary moment in the wet!

This happened to me yesterday driving home from work in the wet: Was going round a tight roundabout and put my foot down to accelerate as I came off, the backend slid out to the right so I turned right full lock, the car skidded, somehow just missed the left hand kerb and ended up sideways across th...

Re: Toblerone style indicaters - clear???

I like the Jap style repeaters which is why I've kept them on mine. I tried to tint them with some black spray paint. I made a mistake by spraying them outside in the cold weather BUT the result was actually okay, the paint developed a haze when it dried leaving the repeaters looking white. They're ...

Help for crystal indicators

Since I fitted my front crystal indicators, one of them seems to pop out of position every so often (the sections split apart). I've tried pushing the corners in fully but it still seems to pop out. I can't really take them back coz I've drilled holes in the back for the sidelights. Anyone else had ...

Re: Help in buying mr2

I bought my car from Premier Cars (premiercartrader.co.uk). They seemed okay. The best thing is they offer 6 mths warranty. Just be careful, although they sell some nice cars they also get some real dogs which have been damaged on the way over from Japan. Make sure you check it thoroughly.

Aerial won't go down!

Hey all. Had a problem with my radio aerial for a few months and I want to sort it now. Basically it's constantly stuck up and won't come down. You can hear it whirring away when the radio is turned on/off but the aerial doesn't move. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Black MR2 in Harborne

Saw a very nice, shiny standard black rev3 parked up on Harborne High Street today on my way back from work. I wouldn't have left mine parked on the main high street like that, lol. Anyone off here?

De-cat - worth it?

Just wondering whether it would be worth getting a decat pipe on an N/A car? I heard it can affect torque but when I had one on a GTI it seemed to rev a lot better and the exhaust sounded well nice and deep. What do people reckon?

Re: Derby Meet 20/3/05

Thanks for a good meet. Was a pretty good turnout in the end, I counted 16 cars. Shame some of us got lost when you all drove to the pub. Never mind eh. Will put my pics up a bit later.

Re: Black mk2 in Stourbridge...updated

I saw this MR2 a few weeks back near Lye. The owner (asian bloke) pulled over and I had a good look at the car, very nice indeed. We were both chatting for a while. He reckons it's running about 370bhp with nitrous. He said he can get hold of the same style bodykit in fibreglass for about £550. I lo...

Newbie here!

Hi all, I've just joined the forum. I've already been a member on the Toyota Owner's Club for about 8 months (since I've had my car). Just thought I'd say hi and I'll see some of you at Derby on Sunday :)
