Odd they never came with your shocks. My Koni's had these in the box.

the ones we took off were knackerd too (had to use heat in the end to get them off)

you say after a year on the springs? did you notice some settlement then? the guy who fitted them for me (he is a mechanic and a mate) said that he had something similiar on the lowering springs he fitted to his golf and It seemed to settle out after a bit.

It may not be firing on all 4 and another way to check is to pull the spark leads off one by one with the engine running. If there’s no change in the engine tone or running then you know that cylinder isn’t firing right. It rev's fine and pulls strong, problem just seems to be on tick over, saying ...

When cold tick over is just uder 2,000rpm and then when hot 800-900

i got a used engine from ebay that had had the treatment by dtw. Pulls brilliant, not sure of the power but it pulls away from my mates 180 bhp diesel golf no problem. Cost me 500 notes and worth every penny in my opinion. Worth keeping your eyes open

In the process of having white line springs, Koni shocks and Poly bushes fitted to my MK1b. I would like to now get the suspension set up properly. does anyone know what settings i should give for getting the geometry set up please?

Sorry to disagree with everyone, but if i had £10.5 i would snap this up. There is another (blue) one that has been sat in a dealers show room but other than that i think this is probably one of a kind.

The only problem is i would want to drive her and she would instantly loose all her value

I would be a bit suspiciouos of its previous MOT to be honest. I know MR2's rot but I would have expected some of that to be an MOT failure 12 months ago! Have to say I agree with previous comment. Pay to get them done. Had mine powder coated for about £50 a wheel? I am not made of money but I doubt I could hope to come close to the finish levels and not worth the hassle for that price (IMHO =; ) Some people who have more time though (and more skill) ...
