Re: Stone chip and lacquer repairs

Blacks can be very difficult to paint match aswell. A proper respray costs thousands. A decent bodyshop should be able to get a good colour match however old the paint is. If the paints lacquer is beginning to peel its a sign the part has been resprayed before. Mr2 mk2s weren't clear coated from th...

Re: MR2 Turbo GTS Rev3 - Modified

Nice car. Would probably help to put up some pics up of the engine bay, frunk, trunk and interior and maybe a few photos of the paper work to back up the service history.

I used Biggred recently, they did an AMAZING job on mine. You can see the before and after pics on page 5 of my car journal here: www.markreid.co.uk Here's a sampler though: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/Portgordon/2011/06%20-%20June/IMG_1364.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/Port...

Re: A funny thing happened on the way to the post office...

I'm keeping my eye open for him again in town as whatever anybody says I now bitterly regret my decision not to get out and confront him. The g/f thinks I did the right thing.. "he could do anything" and I do see her point but I've called bullies bluffs for over 30yrs (the majority are co...

Re: front end lift....?

When I was on a private road doing excessive speed it was a scary experience without front undertrays fitted. Its at speed these really make the difference. Another common issue with mr2s at high speeds is the power steering goes incredibly light which makes it feel even more like the fronts lifting.

Re: [Suggestion] IMOC Mobile!

Edit : Oh, and just so people that're voicing their 'I wouldn't use it' opinions, mobile sites are usually optional. So even if it was there, it would have no negative impact on you. (Sorry if it's a bit of a grumpy post, 14 hour shift at work running around like mad without a break does this to me...

Re: [Suggestion] IMOC Mobile!

Since getting an iPhone that's all I use to view the forum. I have no issue with page loading times unless their are several images and I have poor 3G coverage. Even then we are talking 10-20 seconds loading times. I like the layout and wouldn't want to loose any functionality by having a simplified...

reverse over my car then drive off! Thanks.

So the next door neighbour is currently having his house renivated as it hadnt been lived in for a while and got water damaged from a burst water pipe. Over the weekend i moved my car off the drive to repaint the front of the house. it was parked on the grass opposite the drive well out of the way. ...
