well the battery went flat on me whilst driving this afternoon and conked out just as i got to the end of my drive. had to push it the rest of the way. :pale:


is my alternator knackered maybe?

the one to the left of the seatbelt warning light is a Engine Compartment Cooling Fan Warning Light.

thanks guys. dont really fansi diy'n it. managed to get a fitted quote of £180 from a place called auto screens and looks like hes going to pay for it to stop me going to the police.

unfortunately some moron has just put my windscreen through because he beleived there was something going on with me and his PREGNANT girlfriend. i have just got a quote for a new windscreen and im looking at £450 fitted from autoglass. im only covered third party. i doubt the police will be any goo...

shouldnt matter what colour primer is used as long as its suitable for the base paint. you will struggle to get a good finish with spray cans. mk2 mr2's werent laquered from the factory and with black cars they are very difficult to colour match anyway. the best place would be your local car paint s...

no. i had never done an engine swap before. ive done brakes, electrics, suspension and bodywork. was about all i had left apart from gearbox and engine rebuilds. wish id became a mechanic now.... :roll:
