I was not aiming any of my comments at you! I posted a link to an SR8 at the ring, and you've taken a cheap shot
I find it highly amusing how you've got your knickers in a twist though!

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 3sgte Inlet Manifold Advice Needed!!
OEM Rev 3 manifold is fine. We did 700 horse with it on! You may be able to make a few more bhp with a bigger inlet, but you'd lose so much driveability its not worth it!
You'd need a 1000cc injectors minimum for a GT35R. 850cc won't cut it! You'll need a minimum of a couple of pumps to boot!

Re: Warm MR2 turbo - effortlessly fast but ......boring?
Bottom line the MR2 brings a huge grin factor. Makes you work hard - part of the fun! E.g., my Evo, pushing almost 650BHP is fun, but your almost connected to it. Its unbelievable how cocky you can get with the Evo, mid-corner you plant the throttle and it stays planted! My MR2 on the other hand, ev...

Re: 30-130 MPH Day - 181MPH
No but they are very similar. About 70bhp more in V8 killers. I'm sure that does not justify double the money. That's the only point I was making. I had 2 tyre kickers with £10k in there pockets. I was not knocking Mushims car at all :thumleft: . I'm sure he knows that. It's a rare beast no doubt :...

Flipping heck... good times and speeds there MB ! :thumleft: Your car spends its life mainly on the roads and you spend 95% of the time under 150 mph ! So why bother trying to "gear up" the car ??!! :-k You might as well jack the ar5e end up and stick some 80 profile tyres on it... Its on...

Re: 30-130 MPH Day - 181MPH
Was you at the limiter at 181mph, or just run out of runway? If so what was you revving it out to? :thumleft: Flat out in 5th bud at 8190 rpm from what i remember on the AVCR - running the shorter PP final drive - not all that! This was in approximately a mile and a half! Don't think it'd have done...

30-130 MPH Day - 181MPH
Had a good outing in the MR2 against the MLR boys on Saturday! Best 30-130 time was a 10.72 (7th fastest) and came 3rd in the top speed run at 181MPH (3rd fastest on the day). We could've got the time down further if we'd had traction in 1st 2nd. 3rd gear the car really came to life and 4th just whi...
