yes they are the ones along the rub strip/behind the toblerones and they do seem very rusted! I have tried to pry the rub strip off but had no luck :( I think i might have to get the grinder out and just take the bolts off that way, I have new strips to put on and atleast i now have a excuse to repl...

thanks for the pointers! I have had a look on 2'srus but they seem to e down at the moment and i cant get on the site properly :( The gold on the whiteline droplinks is pretty plush! Would match my gold works and gold JIC's bang on! As for the ride harshness..... bone shakingly stiff is a understate...

A right thanks for that!
i was unaware that the oil feed was taken from the block! On my previous cars i have taken it from the sump and thought it was the same on the GTE engine aswell!
I suppose i will have to wait untill summer time wen i can et my engine done!

hey, Well just before i got my new mr2 on the 28th i bought a 3SGTE engine hoping to swap the engines as soon a possile, After closer insection it turned out that the Turo engine was lacking compresion across cylinder 3. i doubt it would be anythng important, Like sid before its probably a shoulder bolt from some thing like a heat sheild or retaining clip or similar. I highly doubt it would be a ARB, Exhaust mani, topmountbolt or anything like that. i also find it odd that it has fallen off on your drive? Surely it ...

thanks for the replies. The wheels i was considering were 18x10 on the rears and 18x9 on the front both with a offset of +45. I am aso running JIC coilovers front and rear. Yes leroy i have thought about stagering the fronts and rears with the 18>17 or 17>16 but my car isnt being built to be thrashe...
