Are you the guy I bought a set of Rev2 standard 15s from last year? I picked them up in my red Rev1.

Re: Playbunnys MR2 MK2 N/A

Hey Stacey, Welcome! Just a quick point - you say your Rev1 has 180BHP and your quoted 1/4 mile is 15.5 secs. I doubt that my Rev 1, fitted with a K&N induction kit and a Mongoose exhaust gives out more than 160BHP (up 2 from standard) so it's a good 20BHP shy off your car. A standard Rev1 does ...

It can't be a genuine F reg Mk2. There are Mk1s on G plates and my Mk2 is one of the first in the UK - see profile, and that's on a G. Sounds like a cheap "private" plate to me.

Valentino, I work in the City and my house is just down the road from Shepherd's Bush, off the A40 by the Ealing turn off. Sadly since I've bought my house I rarely use the MR2 (as it's not very practical) hence I never get spotted! Meet wise, there use to be meets organised at Ace Cafe, I attended ...

Not sure if there's a catch, but surely that's a steal.

I think they're brilliant! And cheapest by far. I recently notified them (in writing) that: I have fitted a Mongoose exhaust, Changed my address, Got 3 points on my licence for speeding. I waited for 3 weeks, no reply. I phoned up to say what's going on and a nice sounding young lady told me that th...

Mk2 Revision 1 NA

I bought this car approx two and a half years ago from a dealer in West London. At the time I wasn't sure which MR2 I wanted and after driving various examples (including later revisions) I opted for an early car, without power steering or ABS for that back to basics sports car feel. After reading h...

JJ, Strange, the dipstick showed a healthy oil level in the sump. I had no idea about the gearbox problem. Sorry that the additional defects are causing you bother. With regard to the steering problem, have you tried fitting a steering wheel? One of the (many) reasons I didn't fancy taki...

JJ, Wow! I'm surprised about that. The car was parked outside my parents house in the same spot for about 2 months and it didn't drop any oil on the road. Likewise my driveway was clean after you took the car away. I hope the rest of the car is in a better condition! Send the docs when you can. Pete...

It's not a plug - honest! I sold the "Porker" six months ago to help finance a new house (which I moved into a month before Xmas). I briefly had a Rev2 NA (non runner) which JJ took off my hands not long ago. I still have my red MR2 (see profile), no changes other than a Mongoose exhaust. ...

Am I asking too much....?

About a month ago I placed an ad in the For Sale section for a complete set of standard speakers, subs, amps, plugs, tweeter covers... I've recently dropped the price down (from £150) to £100 and there's still no takers. Am I asking too much or is it simply the case that nobody wants standard ICE no...

V Reg Mk2 Revsion 1 in Perivale, London

That's right! V Reg Revision 1! Still on it's 14s.

Red T-BAR NA parked in a drive in Medway Village, Perivale, West London.

The car's an import, looks clean, had the side stripes colour coded and hasn't moved in weeks.

Any one?
