Any one want a rev 1 tubby engine and gear box. I had intensions of doing a forged rebuild but after it sitting there for 2 years i am fed up of tripping over it.

The amp is under the passenger seat, and yes all the cables run together, i will seperate them tonight if i get a chance, thankyou.

I have been trying to solve this problem all day. When the engine is not running and i have the stereo on all is fine, but when i start the engine i get a whinning noise through the speakers that gets loader and changes tone when i turn the wheel. Good times i got it fixed today at no cost, i just had to make a new retainer thingy as the old one must have fallen off. It keeps the cable from moving just before it connects to the lever on the box.

Any ideas like that are good ones mate, that is why i love this community. Where abouts was the scew stuck?

don't think i am that lucky, i have stripped the area out around the shifter and the cables are ok, i have checked them where they attach to the box and they are ok there too. It would seem that one of the selector arms on the box does not want to do anything. Time for a new gearbox i think.

Just put the wheels on and they look the muts nuts .The only problem i have is when going around corners depending which way the weight is being transfered they rub on the arch plastic protectors on the front. Would this be eliminated with spacers? If so what size?

Just a quicky, i am after a new set of wheels and have just found some 17 inch and was wondering if the offset is ok. They are 38 offset 7j x 17.

Would'nt toyota dealer leads be expensive and are they as good as after market "performance" leads. Also apart from the internet are there any retailers that stock the ngk plugs as i need to get some tomorrow and Halfrauds don't stock them and will not get them for me either.

Where is the best place to get good plugs and leads for my turbo?
