Re: Track / Width
That's a good point but the car is off the road (sorned) at the moment so I can't take it anywhere to have this checked. Is there any way I check either of these (just roughly) at home?

Track / Width
Can anyone tell me if the front track of the MK1 is wider than the rear? I've just fitted some new wheels (7x15 et38) and the fronts look like they stick out towards the wheel arch slightly more than the rears. It's not a problem as they're still inside the arches it's just not something I'd noticed...

Lowering Spring Shape?
I had a look at a set of Eibach lowering springs today (in the box not on a car) and the two shorter springs were conical in shape, is this normal for a MK1 and would they be the front or rears? Conical springs aren't very common are they?

I'm in a similar situation, I'd kill for a full set of new ones in White but was told the same by Toyota I wish someone could produce reproductions.

Re: seat mountings
I'd be really interested in knowing about this too but I suspect from previous posts there isn't anything available and people who have fitted them have fabricated their own? I would have thought there was a market here for someone if they were able to fabricate things? Mounts for aftermarket seats ...

Re: Advice Please On Aftermarket Wheels/Tyres
Thanks for all the replies guys :) I was just thinking about staying with 14's because I've read a few comments on here where some people say the handling is best or most fun when the cars left on original 14 wheels, so I thought this was a solution to change the look but not affect the set up? I wa...

Advice Please On Aftermarket Wheels/Tyres
I've just read that Team Dynamics are starting to offer their pro race 1.2 wheels in 14" when previosly the smallest they offered was 15". The choice in good quality 14" replacement wheels has always been pretty limited so I think this is good news but the problem is they only come in...

Re: Cleaning up the engine bay - hoses?
Yeh there's a thread on the MK1 club site about a possible group buy for an AW11 specific set of silicone hoses but it hasn't got off the ground yet. If anyone else is interested get your names down if you can.

Re: Side Body Mouldings
They are still available via toyota - I have priced silver ones for my 2 in the last three months. Albeit abit expensive (Rear Qtr panel moulding approx £50 per side and Door moulding approx £75 per side) they are still available - you will need your paint code from your chassis plate. HTH I've alr...

Side Body Mouldings
The side body mouldings (the ones with the pinstripes in) on my White MK1b seem to have gone Yellow/Cream with age has anyone else had this happen and is there anything I can do to revive them? I don't know if it's the clear plastic covering on the top that's discoloured or the White painted bit und...

Question About Rear Lights
Does anyone know if the lenses are removable from the rear light assembly? Looking at the back of them the lenses all have self tapping screws going into them from behind which would suggest they can be removed but I've taken all the screws out and the lenses still seem fixed solid :? Has anyone els...
