Re: MR2 REV3 GTS Turbo T-Bar

I've taken a deposit and have another offer so far - the car will be with Tax+MOT and in Warrington from Tuesday, should the sale fall through.

Re: Brake replacement

Quick update - I found the link to the ebay ad:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

180 for groved fr+rear disks + EBC pads

Not heard anything about the pads - Yellowstuff seem to have mixed reviews on here. Anyone tried EBC ULTIMAX?

Re: Brake replacement

Thanks man - much appreciated. Outside of the Carbotec's, what's the next best option? Squeeling would do my head in on the road

Brake replacement

Hey all, I'm looking to refresh my brake setup - new rear disks/pads and maybe the same at the front. I'm sure I saw somewhere online that did fr/rear disks+ pads for under 200, but can't find it now. Any recommendations for crake pads would be good - I've seen Carbotech mentioned a few times? Just ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] APEX'i Power intake filters

Bit of a hijak - but does anyone know where the cheapest place to get a new Power Intake for a tubby? I've not found many places that list them, aside from www.japanparts.com

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] which induction kit?

Just looking at getting a filter for my tubby - can you just wash the Apexi ones then, if you're to clean (but not oil) them?

Also - have seen copies of the Arc boxes mentioned...is anyone still producing these?

Re: New 2 Tubby to the fold

Nice looking motor there mate. :thumleft: would prefer it with some colour-coded strips/toblerones round the car and removal of the orange indicators...that said, I never got round to taking them off my tubby  You could probably pick yourself up a cheap second-hand Apexi induction kit and free...

Re: Picking up new motor, few Q's

Yeah, im not worried about it - just more curious if it's a fairly common problem :) Tempted to get a stock recirc, but don't want the goose honk, so may look to see if you can get recirc kits for the SSQ Looks like Chris's is slightly different?: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MR2-Turbo-Fujitsubo-FGK-Giken-...
