Re: [All] [Generic] Not finding this forum very user friendly

ditto. the links should be hosted on imocs webspace rather than old sites kicking around on the net. As I understand it, by hosting the pics it takes up more server space and it costs more money or something like that. I do recall that it has been discussed and was agreed as not practical. got to b...

Re: Can I have my advanced membership please

nope, think it's £7.50 regardless. maybe an e-mail/PM should be sent to members approaching expiry asking for the paypal "repeat" to be cancelled and the correct amount sent in instead if the person wants to pay the extra ?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] bleed valve

wait until you get a boost gauge to fit it. it's not like a "3 turns is always XYZ boost" thing - varies between each MBC depending on spring strength/length etc. Ask on Tim's site if you want, but i think he'll tell you to wait until you can monitor your boost level.

relay sometimes sticks on these. try turning it on and off about 20 times in rapid succession. (that's worked for me before, and it hasn't stuck again since).

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] I have found some arch flares!

the rear wing on the YSR car in the catalogue shot is different to the one that was on the famous car - i prefer the one on the red car, but the one in the catalogue looks more complex http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j262/splashnatz/abflugmr2.jpg madpsi are also thinking about creating wide arches...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] I have found some arch flares!

These arches are made by Ab Flug, very reputable japanese company. These might be copies, not sure. they're not copies of the Abflugs, or if they are, they've done it so badly that they're a totally different shape ! they are very reminiscent of datsun Z car flares i think, but from the pics defina...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] My new pods made by mr2eddy

very nice gauge pods mr blade ... i have the 2 mr2eddy items too, so i'm biased. be careful when fitting the dash pod, it's easy to crack the bottom lip if you screw it down rather than glue it - mine shows a couple of small cracks from that, and if you put pressure against the paint at all, it will...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo support bracket?

never seen a turbo brace like that on a '2. are you using an aftermarket mani ? the cast stock one doesn't seem to suffer cracking problems. i think you'd have to fit everything up, and then find if there was anywhere you could mount a bracket for it to and get something fabbed up. maybe you could j...

what paint did you use ?

the pic looks a little "pink-ish", so it's probably a perfect match for toyota reds ! (or you need a different camera LOL).

what type of strut brace is that behind the stock one ?

Re: [All] [Turbo] Differences of tyres on 1/4 mile times

funny you should say that, i used a set of Nankangs on a couple of occasions last year - better for launching than most road tyres. i'd get a set for mine, but they don't seem to do anything fat enough for my rear wheels.

hummm sorry but i don't get what the "lol" is about? There are allot of diffrent stages of clutches. you're both right, there are lots of different satges of clutch. the problem is that one companies "stage 2" will be another companies "stage 4" - there's no conssisten...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] whats the oil light on for???

um, could be wrong here, but the JDM engines just have an oil pressure idiot light, not an oil level one. have you specifically put an oil level sensor on there ? if not, then i'd reckon that light will be on until you remove the bulb. best bet though (for peace of mind etc) would be to speak to som...
