I've one of those too... in the garage somewhere, nearly new as well! I might try it one day..! You can fit a bung there too. Got the Berk on at the moment and it's not too bad.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Quieter exhaust needed.... recommendations?

Have you tried a bung in it? Makes a fair bit of difference. I had one once and it was a lot better on the motorways, and I do a lot of miles!! I might even have it lying around in the garage... :-k It'd be a shame to lose a nice exhaust, but I know exactly where you're coming from. I used to get th...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] FPR

ATS do the matching uprated FPR for the bored out (standard) rail. And it costs next to nothing if you have an old FPR to give them (it's exchange basis)...

Pete Gidden (SBits) is the nearest distibutor IIRC.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Blueflame flexi looking ropey

If it's an old one, ring them up for a new one. They replaced the flexi with a new design a couple of years ago. The old 'concertina' type didn't last - and was replaced with an interlock style flex...

Obviously it won't work if you didn't buy it new... or it's been twatted by a speed-hump.

Re: Anybody up north need there car mapping around the end of feb??(results)

Is it worth the three of us booking a day with RS and Ryan? That way we'll get a dyno print and a good map... :-k I'd definately be up for that.

I take it we are all around the 400bhp mark... Should be good!!!

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Chineese Turbos

Don't do it..! I've got one in the garage which lasted ~12k miles before it fell apart. False economy and I was lucky to have an undamaged engine after.

I could get some pics if anyone was interested.

I've got a Garrett GT3071r on there now and it's 100% better....
