What size do you run up front?

The knock control is great, it is working most of the time with stock boost. It can only do so much when the boost it turned up. Any engine running more than stock boost needs a lower compression or higher octane fuel. Base timing can be set to say 6 to 8 deg to help but is the wrong way to do it. ...

No not normal mate.

Ambient temp shouldn't have any affect really either.

Personally I'd be getting a little concerned with only 8psi at idle when warm, especially on a refreshed engine.

The stock low pressure switch, switches at 7psi iirc.

Have you noticed the pressure getting lower over time?

Does the beams come standard with a MLS gasket?

I agree that losing the harmonic balancer in the crank pulley could be a bad thing, but I'm not sold on a light weight flywheel being an issue- as long as it is properly balanced of course. X2.
