Sounds like a recipe for impending doom.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Wiring up amp genius needed!!!

just a quick note from the first reply, if you're installing an amp please put the fuse for the positive supply as close to the battery as possible not the amp, its there purely to stop the cable melting itself, any amp worth having will have its own protection fuse

Re: [Mk2] [NA] help with head unit

i know its not an mr2 but i had pioneer and kenwood headunits in my accord and they slid straight in, fitted a flip out monitor this week and had to bend the dash mounting brackets to fit it, think its something to do with the thickness of the steel cage needed to hold the extra weight

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] tyres sizes for 15" alloys

my original plan was r888's but after talking to a few people in the know who warned me of their complete lack of grip in the cold let alone wet i decided to go for something more road biased, the other problem i have is as my car is rev1 the standard tyre sizes are 195 & 205 / 60 / 14 so the st...

[Mk2] [Generic] tyres sizes for 15" alloys

i've just got a set of 15" rev 3 alloys for my rev 1 and i need to get some tyres, i'm going for toyo T1Rs but i'm unsure wether to go for a 205&225 50 or a 195&215/45 tyre combination, the 50 profile are the closest Match to the originals with a rolling radius within 0.5% and are £230 ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] How much for a full respray in Matt black???

one question, if the cars all about the engine and handling why does it matter what it looks like? personally i love Q or stealth cars, nothing like seeing a faded old car going round the outside of a gt3 on a track :) althoug i must say a friend used to have a two tone baby blue and matt black mk1 ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] clutch question

ok bit more info, the car is a standard 91 3sge so i'll be lucky to be getting 150bhp, seems to me the clutch is not fully engaging, hence the high biting point and slip at full torque or high load, was just wondering if anyone knew if it was adjustable and how to check it before i send it down to m...

[Mk2] [NA] clutch question

i've just brought an mr2 and i think there maybe something wrong with the clutch, firstly the biting point is ridiculosely high, as soon as you rest your foot on the peddle it starts to lift the clutch off and secondly when changing gears at high revs or if i floor it at about 3500 in fifth the revs...
