Re: i'm new and know nothing

Welcome longjohn A lot of people know nothing when they first get there 2’s. I certainly didn’t & I still have much to learn about the cars & that’s before even before I start modding. So don’t worry about that. The best advice I could give you is enjoy the car for a few months at least befo...

Re: Specialist Insurers

interestingly elephant don't do imports via the web and now say they will NOT insure modified cars, at least not with boost controllers and chargecoolers. Neither do norwich??? direct nor prestige. Weird cause loads of people on here use them Yes if you go on to the web site it does say it won’t in...

Do you have to have a SST to remove the crank shaft pully?

Re: handbrake cable adjustment/timing belt

Regarding the cam belt. I personally wouldn’t attempt it myself in fact I will be taking mine to mr t in the New Year at the cost of £300 for a rev 3 turbo. I believe that’s not a bad price for a tubby & regardless of what people say at least you can get more redress if something goes wrong.

Clutch & brake fluid for Rev3

Evening
I am looking to have my clutch & brake fluid replaced shortly. Now I know you can put DOT 5.1 in for the brakes but can you use the same for the clutch?

Nice site, lots of whistle & bells with some good sections.
Have had no real issues with it. I was however unable to see all the avatars in the list. It would only show my up to page 8 I think then up to page 18 were just red x’s. You did ask

Re: best lowering springs and from where? what do u have?

Iam glad you mentioned the Fensport ones. I was planning on getting a set in the New Year. I had instruction on the imoc track day & he mentioned that my suspension was way to soft. So soft that the car became unpredictable on some of the corners. Its not the struts as these were replaced last y...

Re: Now this is wot im talkin bout! wooooooooohooooooooo!

Great idea about local garages. Is mr T easy to approch regarding deals? If they are its worth finding out how many peeps are willing to use that dealer. If you can go to your local dealer & lets say 20 mr2 will use them for services etc a year how about a 10% discount they may be helpful. I use...
