Re: changing suspension bushes??
You do need a good vice or G clamps & a burner. I used a normal gas burner I purchased from Halfords this just helps free the old bushes.
There was a really good right up for this but I just cant find it at the mo, still looking.

Re: how much for a de-cat?
I think most people rate the AUSSIE down pipe/cat replacement for about £250. I know fensport http://www.fensport.co.uk sell these not sure who else does. The down pipe is a separate part of the exhaust. So you could still keep the stock exhaust or go the whole hog & by an after market one as we...

I had the same problem once, the garage that had been working on the car had left the fuse box lid up or something so it closed but look warped.

The bottom pic is defiantly a rev 3. Do you know the history of the car as it must have had a transplant at some point.

Re: Difference in injectors
A long story Chris Had a bit of engine problem a while back & took it to a local garage. They told me it was a dodgy injector connector but said its all right now as they got a new part from the scrappy. I recently had a dyno run & it only came in at 230 bhp which got me thinking about the ...

There are 2 grey & 2 brown, which is correct. I also meant the injector connectors not injectors

I asked: Hi, very interested in the car, like the rear conversion best of all. Could you tell me what you personally think needs doing to bring it up to 18-20k mark? Thanx Terry Answered on 31-Dec-04 It really needs an interior make over and general tidying. Cars like these are always going to be w...

valve clearance?
I have been toying with the idea of having a crack at changing my cam belt, I also noticed on the 60k service something about checking & adjusting valve clearance.
Is this an important task to do, if so how easy is it or should I just let MrT do the whole thing after having re mortgaged my house
