Yes, they do. Our rev 4 turbo has a UK speedo.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] speedo differences, how come? (120,160, 180)

All imports come with 180kmph speedos, so 120 or 110mph faces are stuck over them. They still count in kms on the odo. 140mph speedos are found in the 3S-FE engined UK coupes, these cars have 119bhp 2 litre engines. 160mph speedos are found in UK cars. They are sometimes fitted to imports to sort ou...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] EHPS questions. If speed sensor is removed what will it cause the pump to do?

On rev 1s the speed signal comes from a reed relay in the speedo head. It's the same 4 pulses per rev whether it's a JDM or UK speedo.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] de-limiter wiring

Top left is the feed into the speedo, if your delimiter is a converter then you need to interrupt the signal here. The 12v level signal input into the speedo comes from the copper track into the speedo via the screw. The top right screw is the 5v modified pulse output from the speedo to the ECU, if ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 4 and 5 differences

It's not that we can't import the rev 5s anymore, tis just that the necessary type approval tests that have been tightened up for post 1997 cars would make it impractical to import a car of the value of a 1998/2000 MR2. It's likely to cost 3 to 4k to get all the noise, safety and emmision reports do...

TwosRus will have some more in soon, and they'll be back on the website when they are. It's worth the wait, the TwosRus one is a class piece of kit. Cheers, Jon Thanks for the praise Jon, I've just checked my boards order and the Bits4twos delimiters should be back in twosrus by the middle of Feb. ...

The trumpet for the SSDD is more of an elliptical shape.

Here's what it looks like:

Re: Best way to tackle roundabouts/bends?

I quite like a slightly positive throttle and moderate the speed using the brake with the left foot. This minimises the slack point during the transition between deceleration and acceleration. The car will only be in control if the connection between the engine and the wheels is kept. Coasting will ...

If the converter chip fails, no pulses to speedo therefore no pulses to ecu = engine warning light on.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Engine managment light on for 20 secs and no speedo

Could easily be the same problem. If the speedo fails then the engine warning light will come on after a few seconds because the signal to the ecu goes from the sensor to the speedo and then to the ecu. Check the connector to the sensor on top of the gearbox, the wires often break there, usually ins...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Hopping

It used to occur a lot on cars with a live rear axle, known as axletramp. It happens when the axle 'winds up' then releases, bouncing up and down. I'd check to make sure all of the shocks, bushes and links holding the gearbox, engine or hubs in place are good, and nothing is hanging loose. I had som...

Our Sony is like that. The trim around the head unit pops off on the Sony, put the dash back then pop the trim back on. Maybe yours is similar?
