Re: My smooth 2

That is fookin gorgeous fella! :thumleft: What make is that front splitter? Thinkin it might work with my Bomex Skirts. Oh and the first set of wheels were great, not everyone's a fan of the silver lipped style or black. Was nice to see someone else with some nice shiny 5 spokes, very nice :thumleft:

Tried doing a search but doesn't seem to come up with anything...:( I've just fitted some blue bulbs to my speedo to give it a bit more of a modern look, but the upon darkness falling and the lights being switched on the needles look really really dim. Does anyone know what bulbs the needles take so...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] mk2 rev1 problem

I had this. Problem ended up being an HT lead had popped off. Open up your engine bay and check all the spark plugs, HT leads (leads on to sparks) and the distributor cap (other end of the HT lead). If needs be, change them if you haven't done in quite a while. This may sort it out, and even if it d...

Agreed with everything above! MR2s demand respect, everyone has done the 1.0l 100mph thing. If I had had an MR2 when I was 17 id be dead and possibility of others being hurt or dead too. Take him for a track day in it after he's been driving for a year so he can see how fun they can be on big wide ...

I agree with above, don't let it be his first car because speaking from experience, withint hat first year it'll die. I was 2 months off 18 when I passed my test, got given a 1.6 Mazda 323F (Fastback) for my birthday and loved it. Paid £166.36 a month just for the privilage of driving it. I did go up...

Re: [All] [Generic] Urgent - engine collection

Unfortunately if you can't pallet it I can't see anyone touching it because of the handling issues. :-k T Gold star for that lady! He's right, I work in shipping and you won't get anyone to pick that up unless it's palleted. Needs to be clean too or you could face extra costs from the carrier. They...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] HELP how can i drive more economically

Try: * don't accelerate hard (lodge a brick under the throttle to restrict maximum movement) * change up at 2500rpm * plan ahead and brake slowly - leave in gear for as long as possible whilst slowing down * stick to a constant 60mph on motorways (try sitting 2m behind a lorry in its slip stream) *...
