The last set of ARP head bolts were an external 12 point. Many sockets are 12 point so that was not a problem. Some are slpine drive I think though.

Each tool manufacturer has their own labeling for tool types, what says 12mm internal spline drive to Snap-On does not say the same thing for a MAC dealer or a Teng tool resaler.

I have done this mod and I don't think I had to cut any traces. However if I did or in your case you have, I would recommend following the trace to find the joints they go to and then running an extra wire from one terminal to the other. This should get everything running.

It will make a difference, how much so depends on your exhaust. some get LOTS louder, some not so much.

Also the tone should change though again it depends on the exhaust as to whether it gets higher or lower.

If you are on a stock exhaust then go for it. It sounds ok, not too loud with a cat in place but it is real drone-ey in the cabin at motorway speeds. I wear ear plugs if I have to drive any distance in the tubby.
