Re: the correct use for an ironing board
Ultimate in strength and ridgidity. 50mm sq galv steel box section with cast aluminium clamps. The seat has speakers in the headrest and a sub in the back. Sounds and feels great. Also, easily dismantled. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj221/dazzzmr2/pict0013.jpg http://i273.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: Mr2 Mk1 Greg Red for sale
Nice one mate.
Just while i remember. You may need to replace the rubber O ring on the white plastic engine bleed valve, it looked worn when i last had it apart, (when changing thermostat), 3 weeks ago ish.
I sure someone can sort one out on here though.
Good luck mate

Under cooling
My Mk1b is now driving around under normal conditions with the temp gauge reading at a quarter rather than half, and is taking a long time for engine idle speed to drop to 1200, ( it won't drop further now ).
Is this a faulty thermostat?? There is plenty of coolant and no leaks.
Any advice please???

Re: Mk1 Header Tank Stuck
Remove the coolant from the tank. Fill it with boiling water. coat the back of it in pnetrating spray, give it a wiggle. give it an hour then it should just pull out.
