Re: Transporting my MK3

Try shiply.com you put up what you want moved and where from/to and then the drivers will submit offers to you.

Another option is to look into hiring a low loader for the day. I think LimeyMk1 did this to transport his mk1 but can't remember the cost now.

Re: [All] [Generic] Car PC people. Advice needed.

"VLC for Windows Store" has a pretty good UI once you start playing music anyway. the play/pause/skip forward/back are nice large buttons. I have a 10" Lenovo tablet that I've been playing with in the same way as you. I have s/ware that live datalogs from my ECU and can have a dashboa...

Re: Insuring an MR2 with electronic boost controller

Admiral my current insurer which has just lapsed but want to insure on the three mods already there as last year (but won't do a boost controller) is £311. They used to insure my Turbo with no issues, this was a couple of years ago now though. I'd do an online quote via one of the comparison sites ...

no worries mate, though I'd personally prefer a Stagea to a Galant/Legnum either WGC34 - in 250 rs four RB25DET (available as a manual) Image Replaced With URL For Quote http://www.j-spec.com.au/f17130/2000-Nissan-Stagea-RS_FOUR_S_01.jpg or an early M35 250t rs four - 2.5l VQ25det, v6 turbo, 280bhp...

Re: MR2 Turbo - Import my own or buy in the UK?

@ Jaspa, the guy on DW you're probably thinking about (or should be if you're not) will be michael or rees @ autospecs, they're the japanese agent I, and pretty much everyone else uses (including the "big" importers who try to keep it all secret and use smoke and mirrors tactics to fool p...

Re: MR2 Turbo - Import my own or buy in the UK?

As the car is >10 years old, you don't need a SVA. the KPH>MPH Conversion isn't a legal requirement. If you were to bring it into the uk yourself, all you would need is to wire up a fog light and then take the car for an MOT. You can insure the car on the VIN number so can drive the car straight fro...

Re: Can't stay logged in

I have this on my work PC, not bothered to investigate it further yet but it's the device/browser, not the forum unfortunately.

You could try clearing history/cookies etc on the phone and trying again?

Re: Other MR2 driver reactions

I'm not convinced that the 3S-GTE would compliment the car TBH, don't get me wrong I'd love to try it and the car is sorely lacking in grunt but I'd still want drivability over raw power. Personal Opinion of course :thumleft:

Re: 2 OR 3

Toyota's criteria to its designers was we need a sports car for our young executives and it must be able to carry a full set of golf clubs, the iconic Mk 2 was created. The Mk 3 is not as practical for space, but is a balanced fun 1.8litre driving machine. The GT86 is also 1.8litre. I'll give you 1...

Is there non-toyota (but still japanese) parking hidden out of the way again? I'm not sure if the MR2 is going to be ready so may be bringing the Legnum instead.
