Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev3 idle intake
there is a screw for a bit of mechanical idle for the early ones but i shouldnt see a problem just with the idle valve. cheers karam yes the rev 2 has an idle adjust to let air bypass the throttle body, the rev 3 doesn't therefor my car wont tickover without creating a vacuum leak somewhere on the ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] rev3 idle intake
apart from the idle control valve where does a rev 3 pull in air whilst on idle.
I am in the process of fitting a rev3 throttle body and i'm sure a rev2 pulls air through the throttle body where the rev3 doesn't appear too.
This make me think there must be another feed somewhere any ideas?

no matter how much uk "dealers" claim they are exclusive most of the american firms wolfkatz, ats, mtbuggies etc will sell direct to the general public if you ask nicely. Just because customs dont always sting you for vat and import doesnt make you a criminal.

Re: Formation of IMOC-UK Ltd
By undertaking this change, we have had to cover the cost of forming the company and the ongoing costs of running the Club under a Ltd Company will be increased. does that mean directors / board members will now be reibursed for their time devoted to IMOC matters from the additional charges to the ...

Just thought I would start a topic, My car is going in for its final mapping session to finish the higher boost stuff on march 1st. Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ats knock censor problem
I think you have more problems than the ATS knock sensor :? The rev 1 which the american market got has the same bore and stroke as the later revisions, 86mm dia x 86mm stroke therefore the knock frequency that the sensor detects will be the same on both engines. People have fitted rev3 knock sensor...

Re: :)
Looking at the Flange I can count 7 studs (well 6 studs and a hole where a stud should be!) I was under the impression that the CT26 had a 7 stud fixing to the exhaust, and that the CT20 had a 6 stud fitment? If thats true - then I would say you have a CT 26... :) Brian just for your reference, her...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What material would you use to make a stronger driveshaft?
If I remember correctly from my days studying structural design, I believe that the shear value for titanium is lower than that of steel. I am going from memory here as I dont have the tables in front of me. If you are talking about new shafts for strength reasons and not weight saving I would just...
